Utkal Divas: Celebrating the Identity and Pride of Odisha

 

Every year on April 1st, the people of Odisha celebrate Utkal Divas, also known as Odisha Foundation Day. This day marks a historic milestone—the formation of Odisha as a separate province in 1936, carved out on the basis of linguistic identity.
